PENTAGON (펜타곤) is a 7-member boy group, currently consisting of Hui, Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Kino, and Wooseok. They debuted on October 10, 2016, under CUBE Entertainment, with their first mini album, PENTAGON. PENTAGON made their Japan debut on March 29, 2017 with the mini-album Gorilla.
Background Information: The group was created through the Mnet survival show called Pentagon Maker.
Group Name Meaning: The group names comes from their pre-debut survival show. The selected members to debut where the ones who completed the pentagon shape which evaluates five types of qualifications necessary to become an idol: vocals & rap, dance, teamwork, talent (skill, entertainment sense), and mindset (personality, attitude).
